Plain Unbleached Natural 100% Cotton Calico

A versatile mid-weight 100% cotton calico in its natural, unbleached state — a true workhorse fabric that belongs in every sewing room. With a warm, natural ecru tone and a pleasingly textured weave, this calico is as practical as it is timeless.

Calico is the go-to fabric for toiling and pattern testing before cutting into your good fabric, but its uses go far beyond that. It's excellent for dyeing and printing (the natural base takes colour beautifully), bag making, linings, craft projects, home furnishings, and even as a base for embroidery and appliqué. At 160cm wide and 140gsm, it offers excellent coverage and value.
