Fuse-A-Web Iron-On Bonding Web | 50cm Wide | Appliqué & Craft
Part of the Yorkshire Sewing Guy range of carefully selected haberdashery essentials, Fuse-A-Web is a paper-backed fusible bonding web that makes light work of fabric-to-fabric bonding in appliqué and craft projects.
At 50cm wide, it’s far more versatile than standard hemming web — ideal for bonding larger pieces of fabric cleanly and securely, attaching motifs to fabric, and general appliqué work. It also works perfectly as a hemming web when cut into strips. All you need is a pair of scissors and a hot iron.
Fantastic quality and value — if you haven’t tried Fuse-A-Web yet, it’s well worth adding to your craft kit.

How to Use
- Set your iron to the correct temperature for your fabric. If in doubt, test on a scrap piece first.
- On the paper side, mark out the rough size of the piece to be bonded.
- Place the web side down onto the reverse of your fabric and iron the paper side with a dry iron. Trim away any surplus web and paper around the shape.
- Peel off the paper backing and position the piece coated-side down onto your base fabric.
- Cover with a damp cloth and iron in sections for no more than 10 seconds at a time.
- Allow to cool completely before handling or continuing your project.
Care & Washing
Follow the washing instructions for your fabric after bonding. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first.
